Welcome to the online home of Texans for Conservative Leadership. Nearly two years ago a group of likeminded conservatives recognized there was a need to reignite conservative thoughts and ideas in our community. At the time, we were faced with the prospect of either Sens. Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama getting the Democrat nomination for President. And because Republicans had not held the line on spending or done much of anything to energize conservatives, we were worried about a Democrat takeover.
Our worst fears turned into our worst nightmare. We dont need to belabor the point, suffice it to say we as conservatives have a lot of work to do.
Here is where Texans for Conservative Leadership will play a part in righting this ship. Our group will work to recruit conservative candidates for vacant positions and will identify and support conservative candidates and promote positive solutions to issues facing our communities.
Look for us to talk about local issues and to endorse conservative candidates in the upcoming 2010 election cycle.
Each week we will put out a radio advertisement to run on AM700 KSEV in Houston. Click here to listen online. The radio ads will feature timely issues and conservative solutions. Those ads will be posted here as they become available.
